I come to this picture from conceptual art and concrete poetry: that is, a mix of text and imagery, musing on the subject matter. My pieces have appeared in dozens of galleries through the United States and Canada, as well as shows at the Jewish Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Farmington Museum, and in collections such as the Stanford Map Collection, the Albuquerque Museum, and the Arts in Public Places program.

In this series, I aim to make small pictures (one foot by one foot in dimension), lightweight (less than a pound), shiny, and full of vivid color. They're kitchen friendly. They are easy to hang: one nail and you're done.
